Next generation is not too strong a term for this electronic access control solution that fits completely in a standard door handle.
Whether you need a cylindrical lock or a mortise lock, the SimonsVoss access control solution provides complete wireless access control. It requires no additional holes or wires, yet has all the features of electronic access control. Each lock set can support up to 8,000 users, while keeping track of the last 1,024 transactions. User access can be limited by time and date or the lock can be programmed to automatically unlock and re-lock at predetermined times. The two coin-cell batteries in the lock provide an amazing 100,000 operations before they need replacement. Access is granted with the use of a pebble shaped transponder, or a finger-print biometric transponder.
