This Simons-Voss Startup Package includes everything you need to get started with the SV system. It includes one mortise lock Retrofit kit, three transponders, one SmartCD to programmer and the necessary database software.

Lock Information:
The SimonsVoss Mortise lock can be applied anywhere a standard commercial mortise lock is used and allows the ability to easily grant user-specific access privileges with a few clicks of the mouse button instead of physically grinding keys. The access privileges may be removed even if the credential (transponder) is not available. Lost keys no longer require re-keying the locks and the credential can be automatically replaced with no limit on the number of replacements. Lock options provide the ability to record transactions, control access by time and date, and provide connection to a wireless network.
The retrofit kit that can be used with many of the major mortise lock brands or as a full mortise lock solution. The easy installation along with the simple and secure operation make this lock the smart choice for trouble-free security.
Transponder Information:
Replace mechanical keys that can easily be copied and cause expensive re-keying when lost with this award-winning active, RF-based, transponder. With a push of the button you can unlock doors and control a wide range of equipment as authorized by the system administrator. If the transponder is lost or stolen, it can easily be disabled and a replacement issued without the expense of mechanical changes to the lock. In fact, one transponder can be programmed to provide different levels of access at different times of day accross multiple SimonsVoss lock systems. This may be the only "key" you need (View Transponder Data Sheet).
SmartCD Information:
Use this device to program or extract information from SV1 locks or transponders. You can connect the SmartCD to a laptop or other computer with the USB cable provided or connect, using Bluetooth to a PDA running Windows Mobile Operating System version 5 or higher. The SmartCD provides the interface to the proprietary SimonsVoss B-field RF link used by the locks and tranpsonders in the SV1 lock system. Through this device you can use the LDB (version 1.51 or higher) or LSM (version 2.22 or higher) to configure the locks or transponders and to read the status of the devices or the audit trail from the locks. The SmartCD can also be used to open locks and is the administrative override for opening doors when battery replacement has been neglected.
